Instructors Awarded Coach Level 2 Certificates

In June this year, Steve Roe, Ivan Boyadzhiev and Paul Adkins all successfully achieved their Coach Level 2 certificates. Sadly in September this year, Sensei Steve Roe was diagnosed with throat cancer.

Steve Roe Undergoes Cancer Treatment

Steve Roe received treatment for his cancer for a year between September 2017 and October 2018 when he was told that his cancer had spread and he now had terminal lung cancer.

Sensei Steve Roe Passes Away

In May 2019 Sensei Steve Roe sadly passed away. Senseis Paul Adkins & Ivelin (Ivan) Boyadzhiev achieve Nidan

Senseis Paul and Ivan are awarded Nidan 二段 (2nd Dan) at the British Aikido Federation Summer School. This is a great achievement which reflects many years of dedicated practice.
